I am a wife of 8 years to Ricky and mom to Cecelia and Hannah. My family and I live in Jackson, WI. I am someone who is down to Earth and loves to laugh. Being the eldest of 5 kids, I am the quintessential 1st born; reliable, love structure & routine, and a bit of a control freak! Aside from all my type- A personality traits, I actually am pretty laid back about almost everything (unless you are breaking the rules!), I love to laugh and have a good time. I really try to make the best of life and have fun!
In my spare time, I love spending time with my familyand our dog, Kyle. When I am not at work you can catch me grabbing brunch with a girlfriend or watching all things true crime with a glass of wine.
After graduating high school, I attended VICI Aveda. I became a licensed cosmetologist in 2010. Between 2010 and 2012, I had worked at 2 small Aveda salons. In June of 2012, I started working for a popular high end Milwaukee salon; I spent 8 years with them. For 3 years, I was the Inventory Manager of their 4 locations. In that time, I had learned the ins and outs of how to run a salon business. Being a stylist for over a decade, I have worked with numerous color and product lines.
I decided to go into business for myself right before the pandemic hit and all the salons were ordered to shut down. Needless to say, learning how to become a small business owner and keep all of my guests safe has not been the easiest to navigate. I wanted to start Shear Beauty MKE because I wanted to have a place that my guests didn’t feel like a dollar sign or rushed in and out to get to the next guest. Every one of my guests is important and gets the time and attention that they deserve!
